[WestMichiganRope] Re: One Year anniversary - Reflections
The journey as you put it has been a whirlwind for me. I think I
have learned more from the group than I have taught. Getting up in
front of a large group of people is never easy. You always worry
about making mistakes and making yourself look like an idiot. This
has forced me to think things thru in greater detail than I had
previously. It also forced me to go out and research other opions
than just the ones that I was taught to ensure that best possible
information was passed on. People who had virtually no experience in
rope have shown ties that I hadn't considered or didn't even know
of. Everybody in this group has something to teach and something to
learn whether they realize it or not. And everybody in this group
has been a godsend.
In short, it has been a growing and a learning experience for me.
Something that wouldn't have happened without this group. For that,
it is the group that gets my thanks.
Be well.
